The day i came to U.D.S my whole changed from my mind, heart,a attitude, and the way I feel about my life. I didn't expect to be around so many successful people, and i really wasn't aware of all the opportunities they have to offer.
I came from the girl with no ambition, no set goals always getting involved with the wrong type of peoples. I use to get messed up all the time, missing from home days at a time. I was misleading myself by settling for what ever like public assistance or nothing at all. I was beginning to let my surrounding affect me in all the negative ways.
Now since i have been apart of U.D.S my mind is starting to grow in ways I thought was impossible, because I was always told I have a fairy-tale imagination, but since U.D.S gave me a chance I know in my heart that my fairy-tale is becoming reality. What I have to thank administrative for is showing me how a real adult is suppose to be, how to handle situations in life without letting it bring me down.
Urban Development Solution I can honestly say you all have saved my life because I was on a destructive road. To me this is not just a work training program this is the family I always needed to show me that there is a lot more to life than just what i grew up around like parties, drugs and anything negative you name it and that's what it was.U.D.S is the reason I'm not a shame where I come from, they are the reason for me seeing me as me, yes I am somebody,somebody that U.D.S has developed from a young girl to a woman with pride, more self-esteem, a great attitude and with no doubt I know they have made me feel like I have a purpose and I want to thank U.D.S for the ability and the opportunity for helping me to help others.

U-D-S gave a young man from nothing a chance to be something. My name is Demarcus Shauntell Sinclair. Im 25 years old and from a little town northeast Arkansas called Forrest City. Just to get u up to speed on y im so grateful for my opportunity to be apart of this company let me take u back to my late teens. At age 18 i lost my father to a massive heart attack and u have to understand that he wasnt just any old "in and out of ur life kinda dad" he was actually raising 5 children (4boyz and 1 girl) on his own. This was all at the time i was stepping into manhood and on my way to becomming a father.... I lost it. Being the oldest of the 5 kids he always warned me to be ready for that day, and guess what? "I wasnt" my life started to take a nose dive for the worse. Drugs, alcohol, no sense of control or direction, i was doomed for faliure. 5 years i struggled with these problems and they really effected me being a good father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and partner to my sons mother. I couldn't hold down a steady job, i wasn't consistent at doing anything but failing. I lost the respect, confidence, love and security of anybody who had anything to do with me. then i met a man by the name of Levan Ellis......... Let me tell u.. its amazing what effect he has on people lives and long story short.... he gave me a chance. not only that but he gave me a chance to influence the lives of other young adults who had come from the same kinda backgroung i came from. Now when Levan stepped down and decided to retire from the buisness, i didnt know he was grooming his successor Mr. Maurice McClane..... the man who saw something in me that i didn't even see in myself. this man was patient in picking up where my dad left off and being the angel in my corner that finished molding me into a man. It wasnt easy, but it was worth it. Urban Development Solutions is more than a job training, its a blessing to alot of the misfits that do come frome the inner city. Ive learned the importance of responsibility, manhood, work ethic, pride, respect for myself and respect for others. Thanks to Urban Development solutions I am a man with goals, a man with a plan and better than i was before i got here.. THANK U MOE, BRODERICK, UNCLE MIKE, MANNY, TASHA, COOP AND LAST BUT NEVER THE LEAST THANKS TO MY BIG BROTHER IN THIS ORGANZATION MR. EMMORY BROWN.
